Please note: Alma Aquanauts was a good idea but it is now on hold do to lack of intrest. Hopefully in ten years or so people will back the idea becuase swimming is a life saving sport.

Alma Aquanauts Swim Club is a non profit group dedicated to the devolpment of swimming skills for all ages.

We are going to provide after school swimming lessons and start a year round, age group competitve swim team that will compete with other clubs in Ontario. We will host swim meets as well as away meets with other clubs.

Our goal is to construct and indoor 8 lane 25 meter pool by 2008. This will be a "green" pool using as little energy as possible. Our pool will set the new standards for pool construction in the future. Using alternative fuels, the goal is to have an off the grid self contained facility.

The pool will also house a day care fasiltiy and Library.

We will soon be excepting donations for the constrution cost of the pool. Donations of building materails, new and use are greatly appreated. We also intend to start fundraising for the hard cash costs.

Johnston International Project Development and Sterling Productions have donated their time to the constrution drawings.
