Gone TubingPress Information Page
Gone Tubing will have a running time of 80 minutes. It will also have a "Making of video" included in the special features on the DVD.
It tells the tale of a boy who is trying to get along with his parents while establishing his independence and tries to find his frist love.
Thirteen year Tom feels that his dad has something to tell him well they are on a first time ever father / son camp out. He makes new friends with the local cronies, Matt and Cass and they invited him to try white water tubing in the campgrounds river system. It's not long before Tom draws the attention of the local girls who invite him to a birthday party.
This refreshingly honest film was co-written by 12 year old Tracey Lampham and 15 year old Jessica Westbrook. Sterling Johnston then rewrote the film into a working feature film. The film was then rewritten by the cast during production to more accurately portray dating at thirteen. The resalt is a humorous look at the struggle to make connection with each other in a for ever changing world.
