Hello All,
A few of us decided to attend the gala screening of the Reel 48 movies last night (with some trepidation, I might add).
Josh had raced to re-edit The Mousey Spinster (with lots of fun sub and seagull sounds added - thank you Josh!)in time for us to be screened last night. Interestingly enough, four of the ten teams did not get their movie in by the 7p.m. deadline - we weren't the only ones!Our movie screened last of the ten - and people laughed! Not only did they laugh, but all films were eligible for the "audience choice" award. And guess who won? Yep, that's right!
Sterling is looking into getting copies of the handsome award made for each member of our winning team. We have an award to our names now! Yipee!
Plus, a lot of people came up to us to tell us that they really liked our movie. Even Tara, the executive producer of the festival, told us that she had voted for us for the audience choice. She was very pleased with our movie and really encouraged us to submit it to festivals.
